Pencil on Paper     The following pages offer a selection of recent drawings, dimensions variable, all ranging from 7 to 8 inches by 8 to 9 inches. Some have been rendered on vintage paper that bears evidence of age (yellowing). Some have areas in which the paper has been thinned or voided by sanding.     The practice of drawing is many things: a discipline, a search for new paths, an act of uninhibited exploration. Though immensely satisfying, there are times the work, the result, can frustrate, dishearten. Nearly half of my drawings up discarded.  <  / < / >
